In addidtion to our Sunday services, there are many opportunities for fellowship at special events and through participation in Lifegroups. We offer several different small groups for both men, women, couples and based on interests. We are confident there is a group for you, and new groups are formed for each season of Lifegroups. Additionally, there are many ways for you to serve the church through volunteer participation. We welcome volunteers in our hospitality area, greeters, audio/video, safety and more. At Lifepoint Church, we recognize that the gift of tithes and offerings are a Biblical form of obedience and worship. We are promised in Scripture: “Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” — Luke 6:38 Unlike most churches, Lifepoint does not take a formal collection as part of our service. The Christmas Story tree has been an iconic presentation each year in Balboa Park. The production is managed by the non-profit organization Christmas Story Tree San Diego. They rely on volunteers and the financial support of the community to continue bringing this message to park visitors. If you are able to help, please visit https://christmasstorytreesd.com.
At Lifepoint Church we believe that prayer is a powerful tool. To that end, we have a team of dedicated volunteers ready to pray for you. To access the Prayer Team, you are welcome to call our Prayer Hotline at (619) 467-5433 any time and leave your prayer request on the recording. That request will be forwarded promptly to a team of individuals dedicated to praying for those who call. Alternatively, you can also leave a prayer request by accessing our Prayer Request form on Church Center.
Kingdom Impact is a way of leading the Great Commission through a community who faithfully give above and beyond. From children to adults, the profile of one who has Kingdom Impact is the same. This community is built of individuals and families that prayerfully commit to give, over and above their tithes, to Local Church Expansion, Global Missions, and Future Christian Leaders. Everyone has the ability to be a Kingdom Impact participant. It is not about the money people have, but the sacrifice they are willing to make.
